We will be presenting findings on the distribution and origin of mycotoxins in grass silage clamps and their effects on the dairy cow.
Join Digital Dairy Chain (DDC) and SRUC along with project partners; Alltech, ARN and Silage Solutions for a webinar on new discoveries in grass silage mycotoxins.
About the seminar
The milk drop associated with grass silage mycotoxins is an infrequent but costly problem for vets, farmers and their advisors.
The DDC funded a joint project with farmers and Industry to investigate the problem on 10 farms across the DDC region, together with an in depth investigation on one farm.
We will be presenting findings on the distribution and origin of mycotoxins in grass silage clamps and their effects on the dairy cow.
We will be discussing what practical steps can be taken to help decrease mycotoxins in the clamp, and there will be a Q&A session to answer your questions and follow up on the findings.
Who should attend?
The webinar is intended for farmers, vets and feed consultants. CPD points will be available. This event is relevant to anyone interested in dairy cow health and nutrition.
